The emoTouch process comprises three main steps: create, execute and evaluate. All functions can be integrated into one of these three process steps. This article therefore serves as an overview and introduction to the software and its possibilities in the Researcher Interface.
Create
When an existing study is selected or a new one is created in the Researcher Interface dashboard, the Study Designer wizard opens first. Here, the parts of a study can be created and edited. In addition to static elements, such as text, images and other media, interactive elements can also be inserted: with the scales (one-dimensional, two-dimensional and categorical) can be used to collect real-time data, depending on the scenario.
Conduct
While the Participant Interface displays the running Study for the participants, this can be controlled from the Researcher Interface. Once a Realisation of a study has been created, the individual Session can be tracked here during the execution.
Evaluate
The collected data can be exportiert as a CSV file or analyzed with the evaluation module within emoTouch. The data can be resampled as needed to subsequently create visualizations with the appropriate scripts.
