Projects
Working with studies in emoTouch involves three main steps: creating, conducting and evaluating. All functions are integrated into one of these three process steps. This article provides an overview of how to get started with the software and the possibilities of the Researcher Interface.
Create/ edit
Use the "Studies" tab in the Researcher Interface to manage or edit your already created or shared studies and to create new ones. To edit, click on one of your existing studies. To change basic parameters such as resolution, use the "=" menu. To create a new study, click on the "New study" button.
When you open one of your studies, you can design it in the editor.
Optional: If you want to attach a query string to the URL to be distributed to the participants, follow the instructions below.
Realise
Once your study is designed, click on "new realisation" in the "realisations" tab.

Several realisations of one study can run at the same time. They are listed in the tab "realisations". Click on a realisation in the list to view details.
== Evaluate ==
The raw data collected can be exported as a CSV file and used with any spreadsheet or statistics software. To do this, click on the desired realisation in the "Realisations" tab and then on the "Export" button at the top right. In the following dialogue box, you can configure the Timestamp formats or resampling, among other options. You can now download time series data and metadata in table format.

Für alle Analysen, die Berechnungen auf der Basis von mehreren Teilnehmern beinhalten (z.B. die Berechnung des Mittelwerts einer Schiebereglerposition über alle Teilnehmer zu einem bestimmten Zeitstempel), müssen die erfassten Rohdaten von emoTouch in 'resampelte Daten' ('Resampled Data') umgewandelt werden.
Die Daten können Sie mit einer Software wie Microsoft Excel, SPSS, Open Office, Libre Office, Apple Numbers, etc. auswerten.
